Ridout completes starting line-up

Our final driver announcement for the start of 2025 season is Mark Ridout.

Mark makes his move from the OT Coupe Cup (with Toyo Tyres) to the VSG Crypto 750mc ClioSport Championship following a fantastic 2024 in which he secured 4 race wins and 7 second place finishes across 12 starts in the Coupe Cup, finishing 2nd place overall in a season long titanic battle, which saw Mark pipped by the eventual Champion.

Mark brings a great amount of racing experience, and has already secured 20 podiums in his first 15 race meetings. He will compete in his own car, a JG Racing built Clio 182 (Class A).

Followers of the ClioSport Championship may recognise the name. Mark competed one round of the ’24 season at Castle Combe, in a Langton Motorsport prepared Class B car. Mark qualified 2nd with very little seat time, only 0.019 off pole in a car that until that day, had never been raced. Unfortunately the car suffered a misfire on the out lap causing a DNF in the first race, but starting from the Pit Lane in race 2, Mark showed fantastic pace finishing 6th overall and 5th in Class.

We are excited to have Mark onboard and look forward to seeing how he gets on this season. He certainly won’t be missed as he continues his ‘trademark’ orange painted race car theme (pictured).
