JG Racing has proudly announced the signing of last year’s champion, Pete O’Connor, for the 2025 750mc VSG Crypto ClioSport Championship.

Pete, a formidable force in his Clio 182 last year, won both Class A Championship and the overall title against the newer shaped 197 and 200 Clio’s. Consistently demonstrating his speed behind the wheel, Pete never once finished lower than 2nd in class throughout the 13 races contested, taking 10 class wins, with 8 overall podiums.

Fan favorite and all round nice guy, Pete has shown his commitment to JG Racing as he remains part of the team while switching to his newly built Hustle Motorsport Clio 200 (Class B) for the 2025 season.

The team is now poised for a fresh chapter of success. As pre-season testing begins, the team and Pete will have much to learn, in what is promising to be a very different car to the 182. A challenge both Pete and the team are looking forward to but with no doubt he will be back on the top step in the new class, very soon.

As we look forward to the 2025 season, one thing is certain: with Pete back on board, we have a fantastic team member to contribute to the development of other drivers on the team as we push for a second championship title in a row.
